I love the slight distressing of this 5″ wide, wire-brushed, oak hardwood flooring. It adds just the right amount of texture to provide depth and style. It also hides everyday wear and tear which makes this type of texture a family favorite for kids and pets. The overall feel is modern and rustic.

The goal for this project was to add color to the walls and keep the carpet simple. A traditional plush style in a Stainmaster nylon is timeless in style and durable enough for pets. This style also “wraps” nicely in open steps like theirs.

This space was redesigned to add new life to an old brick fireplace. We selected a soft texture for the carpet in a warm, sand tone to keep this lower level light and fresh without feeling cold.

An alternative to natural sea grass, this nylon style looks like the real thing and won’t stain or feel brittle under your feet. Unique to this style is a tea-stained, color wash effect that mimics natural sea-grass like no other style.

This home was remodeled to suit the more contemporary tastes of the homeowners. Choices included a mosaic back splash, a quartz counter top, a short cut and loop carpet, and a wire brushed (slightly distressed) wide plank oak flooring in a warm grey color tone. A traditional 12 x 12 tile size in a classic beige stone design never goes out of style. A straight grid installation with a modern, narrow grout line that blends in color was chosen to keep the look clean and updated.

This client no longer wanted carpet in their lower level. They chose a hardwood floor with an old-world style that would look rustic yet traditional with their furnishings. This wood is a wide plank maple (8″ wide) with an antiqued stain treatment (called a “french bleed.)” This treatment leaves the edges and the pits darker than the overall color of the plank.

Rubber flooring is the perfect fit for this exercise room. A vibrant red paint color was selected for the walls to increase energy and set this room apart from the rest of the home.

This sun room needed a soft, luxurious, traditional carpet in a deep color tone. A warm, olive green helps this room feel like an extension of the outdoors. An ultra silky fiber, this carpet will show footprints and vacuum marks. But under your feet it is pure bliss!
